As your current Sheriff, I bring over 30 years of federal law enforcement experience and am specialized in jail operations, judicial security, and prisoner operations – essential qualifications to guarantee a safe & smooth transition to the new $110.5M jail. After three years as your Sheriff, I know the old and new facilities inside and out.
I am seeking re-election May 5th to continue the improvements already underway, because modernizing and professionalizing the Sheriff’s Department doesn’t happen overnight.
Together, with my administrative staff, we offer Continuity of Service in the transition of jail operations to the new facility and in repurposing the MCCC Work Release Center. Our goal is to consolidate and streamline jail operations for the 2030s and beyond.
